Richard is our building project planning and programming manager and supports our residential and commercial construction clients across the UK.

He has worked in the construction industry all his working life. After completing an apprenticeship in carpentry, his early career included a number of site management, project coordination, estimating and surveying roles.

Richard worked at ISG plc for 10 years as a construction manager. Here he was involved in the Eurostar project at Kings Cross, as well as delivering a large number of multimillion pound commercial construction projects for clients such as BT and a number of law and financial institutions in London.

In 2006 he joined 8Build, a new fit-out and contracting company as a senior construction manager/planner. He was involved in a number of multimillion pound residential new builds and refurbishments, and oversaw the development of head offices, office to residential conversions and the refurbishment of various government-owned buildings too. Richard’s most recent role was at Gardiner & Theobald, London where he spent 5 years as a Senior Planner before being promoted to Associated Director in 2019.

His role at CLPM involves providing a planning and programming service to clients, to help ensure that all time related issues within projects are effectively considered, controlled or addressed through all stages of the construction project life from concept and feasibility stages through to occupation.
