Sustainability Review on an Old Farmhouse
We’ve just been appointed to give a sustainability review on an old stone built Scottish croft. It is dating from the 1820’s. Our heating & energy consultants are excited by this challenge!
CLPM were recommended to them by previous clients we helped last year. We had worked on a sustainability review for their farmhouse near Devises.
Project
The croft or cottage is right up in the far north of Scotland. It is on the coast and so in a very exposed position.
The clients are planning to add an extension and carry out a full refurbishment.
They are asking our advice on the best way to insulate the property. They want to know how they should heat it and also what grants are available to them.
This is the furthest North we’ve ever been on a sustainability review so far!
We work right across the UK offering sustainability support and project management services and in many instances can gather the information we need digitally to start the ball rolling and proceed from there.
