Cottage Extension and Remodelling in Wiltshire
We’ve just won a job to help a couple with their Cottage Extension and Remodelling in Wiltshire.
They’re looking to build a double garage and add a double storey extension to the rear. They they want us to help remodel the space to create a new en-suite bedroom and a new family bathroom upstairs plus an enlarged breakfast/kitchen area on the ground floor.
Now this couple are both reasonably experienced in having building work done but as they both work full time they have realised that they just don’t have the time to manage the day to day building works of this cottage extension and so we’ve been contracted in a ‘hand holding’ capacity.
We offer this service for many clients and we charge fixed amounts for specific tasks required and then an ongoing hourly rate.
In this instance we’ll be drawing up a programme of what needs to happen when, creating a schedule of works (which acts as to do list for the builders and specialist trades), and attending weekly site meetings for the clients to ensure everything goes to plan.
