CLPM regularly work with clients with projects requiring disabled building adaptions in Hertfordshire.
We work with architects and architectural technicians, and specialists such as housing occupational therapy companies, who design and adapting homes for the less able. We work directly with clients, as well as in some cases being appointed to work on disabled building adaption projects by specialist catastrophic personal injury solicitors.
We cover most of the South East of England. Our friendly, experienced team can offer project management support for projects requiring disabled building adaptions across London, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
We have recently been appointed to support clients in Tring, Hertfordshire. Our clients are adapting a house near the town centre to make it more wheelchair accessible. Our client is an acute and wheelchair-bound multiple sclerosis sufferer with carer visits four times per day. She is planning to carry out adaptations which will open up the space to improve accessibility, and add modifications which will future-proof her home. In addition to adding a small rear extension, the house will be modified to increase the width of the doorways. Specialist equipment, such as a hoist, will also be installed.
As moving out for the period of the building works would be very difficult, our client will be living in her home throughout the build phase of the project. We have therefore been appointed to help ensure that the works are carried out correctly and to the best quality, as well as helping the build progress as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Lucy Nylander, CLPM’s building project manager for Hertfordshire will be project managing this disabled building adaptions project.
