CLPM provide construction cost services in London and the South of England.
CLPM are not just construction project management experts, we also have a small Quantity Surveying team who support our residential and commercial clients. Our construction cost services team’s job is to help estimate the cost of our clients’ designs and help advise how cost savings might be made. They also help find and appoint the best building team by carrying out a competitive tender process and managing the subsequent building contracts. Together with our building project managers they then help record and monitor cost variances once onsite.
Our construction cost services are used by architects to support their practice, and we also work directly with their clients. This means that over the years we have developed relationships with a number of architectural practices with whom we now work regularly, giving them and their clients useful, actionable construction cost advice to inform their designs.
We have quite recently begun working with Neu Architects, a flourishing architectural practice based in Bethnal Green, East London. We started working together on our first project together – a historic house extension and renovation project in the Stockwell Conservation District in South West London – last December.
We are now working with them and a new set of clients who are planning to carry out a small extension to their ground floor flat in Bayswater, West London. At this stage we have just been instructed to carry out the budget on the building project, helping them to estimate the line by line costs for the construction works. Hopefully this will progress to include the tender and contract administration stage too.
