Project Management For A Sustainable New Home
The CLPM building project management team provide a variety of construction project management services. CLPM also provide onsite support for a broad range of residential and commercial clients.

Project – A Sustainable New Home
This project has involved the demolition of an existing bungalow and its replacement with a new modern family home.
Working closely together with the architects practice – LAPD Architects of Abingdon, the clients have developed an innovative design for their home which is being built to a high standard using a variety of sustainable methods and materials.
The external walls and roof are being constructed using SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) and the roof is to then be clad with steel.
Specification
The windows are to be triple glazed powder coated aluminium and the under-floor heating will be run via an ASHP (Air Source Heat Pump) with a mechanical heat recovery system to aid ventilation.
The new 4 bedroomed house has been designed to give a modern open plan layout with a series of interconnecting spaces. It includes a large first floor balcony with staircase to the gardens as well as a dining terrace off the main kitchen/dining area and separate seating area in the landscaped gardens.
CLPM project management and sustainability teams have been supporting the project. They have helped the clients and architect to specify all the elements of the build. Specifically the green technology, and then getting quotes and going to tender.
The project went on site earlier this summer and is expected to be completed in Spring 2014.
