Meet Louis Sansom, Louis provides CLPM’s Building Project Management services in and around Berkshire.
He has worked with CLPM since early 2016, and in that time has worked on a large variety of different construction projects. Louis has helped a number of clients with their home renovation and extension projects. He has also been involved with several new build projects. Both in terms of bespoke site support and contract administration.
Living in the area means Louis is regularly able to visit site, and provide consistent support.
Louis is very professional in his approach, and has exceptional knowledge in providing building project management services.

Pre Construction Services
Appointing CLPM to provide Pre-construction services will give your project the best possible start.
Design Review: Having an independent third party check through all your design information in the pre-construction phase is a good idea. We can check for omissions, errors, inconsistencies, complications and cost opportunities
Schedule of Works: A Schedule of Works forms part of the contract and lists the works required for a building project. It’s a bit like a shopping list. These are often produced alongside drawings by an architect in addition to specifications and preliminaries (site management requirements). They are likely to form part of the tender documentation and then contract documents for your building project.
Programme: A detailed, realistic programme with key milestones is a very useful document as it will help you to assess the progress of the works.
Principal Design: CLPM can provide CDM Principal Designer services. We can provide health and safety risk assessments on all home renovation, extensions, and new build construction projects. For larger more complex projects CLPM can also provide Construction Management Plans and Method Statements.

Contract Administration
Contract Administration involves checking that the builders are carrying out the works to the correct specification and standard. It also involves dealing with any queries or problems that occur during the build, and liaising with the contractor and client to ensure the agreement any changes to the contract that might happen as a result. An important part is the sign-off of cost changes, the monitoring of the effect on the client’s contract from a financial perspective and the signing off of the invoices for payment.
