This small unit development in Buckinghamshire is made up of nine air-conditioned self-contained offices. It occupies the site of an historic paper mill, immediately adjacent to the Glory Park development near High Wycombe. Set in its own landscaped grounds, the modern, open plan offices were built to a high specification. The accommodation is arranged over ground and first floors with a 2nd floor mezzanine in 7 of the units.
CLPM were brought in by the architects to work with them on behalf of their developer client. We acted as Contract Administrators for the works. The role is one of coordination – keeping all parties up to date with how the project was progressing and ensuring the architectural details were adhered to. It involves checking the quality of all works on site with the main contractor and ensuring that any issues are dealt with as required. We also support the clients from a financial perspective, checking invoices for payment and helping ensure the project is kept within budget.
