Disability Adaptation and Solicitor Support
Do you have clients who need a disability adaptation building project manager?
CLPM regularly work with solicitors specialising in the areas of clinical or medical negligence or catastrophic personal injury. Having worked on many adapted and supported needs home projects, we’re used to coordinating closely with Occupational Therapists, Case Management Companies and Solicitors, acting as Deputy under the Court of Protection.
We understand that if you are acting in the role of Litigation Friend or Deputy under the Court of Protection, a key responsibility is to ensure that monies awarded to your client are spent in a beneficial, cost effective way. We can help you be certain that any building works are carried out in such a way to protect the interests of you, and your clients.
As experienced disability adaptation building project managers, we can coordinate all parties and can give both cost advice and onsite support.
We can help whether the project relates to either a significant extension or modification to your client’s home or the building of a brand new property. You can read about some of our previous projects here.
Our services are designed to support you and your clients by adding a level of independent, technical monitoring and advice to the design and build phases. This ensures that your client gets a build of the highest quality, at the best possible price. It allows you to demonstrate an additional level of ‘check and balance’ in the audit process.
CLPM do not provide design services nor do we carry out the physical build. Instead, as independent construction project managers, our role is to ensure the protection of your clients’ financial interests. We bring together and coordinate the building project team to deliver a high quality build, on time and within budget, thus providing a home that is suitable for the current and future needs of the family.
