Why Self Build, Extend or Renovate in Berkshire?
With its large number of stately homes, castles, race courses and public schools, Royal Berkshire has long held associations with the Royal Family. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton was born and raised in Berkshire. Other notable people associated with the county include the Astors, Elton John, George Clooney and Heston Blumenthal.
Berkshire 487 square miles are home to almost 900,00 people and are some of the most picturesque in England. With pretty villages, meandering rivers and the rolling downs, Berkshire is within an easy to London as well as being a major centre for employment in its own right.
You can expect to pay £4057/m2 for a house in the Bracknell area and £4206/m2 for a home in and around Reading. Wokingham is even more expensive at £4242/m2.
Most home extensions cost less than half of this amount to build, so it’s not surprising that we’re always so busy helping clients with their building projects in Berkshire.
